Just select the text and click on the ‘Talking Text’ button inside the chrome, the ‘Talking Text’ will say it for you. The ‘Options’ section of the ‘Talking Text’ allows you to set many features such as the volume, the rate, the language (English, German, Spanish, French, and Italian), the pitch, and more.

Also, you can add an external text to the text area of the ‘Talking Text’, and then click on the ‘Say’ button, the ‘Talking Text’ will say it for you as well.
